Grow It, Make It, Ship It

The Agricultural Hall of Fame, established in 1986, honors outstanding San Joaquin USA people whose hard work and love of the land has improved the agricultural industry and benefitted the community.

In the past 27 years, 151 local agriculturalists have been inducted. In 2012 the following were honored:

  • Bruce Burlington for innovations in drip irrigation
  • Gail Kautz, Vice President of Ironstone Vineyards
  • Henry Long, Long Brothers farming partnership for 40 years
  • David Simpson who has guided San Joaquin USA to the top ten in Natural resources conservation
  • And The late Robert “Bob” Croce, former Deputy Agricultural Commissioner and cherry grower
